You are invited to take part in an exciting all-day workshop for singers crowned with a performance of an extraordinary work of Italian Renaissance polyphony led by the British specialist in early music Robert Hollingworth. The concert will take place as a part of the Concentus Moraviae Festival at 4:30 pm and the members of the renowned I Fagiolini ensemble will participate in the workshop and the concert.
The workshop is intended for all those interested in early music who have experience with solo and ensemble singing and good sight-reading.
During the workshop the Mass in 40 parts by Alessandro Striggio (in the final Agnus II extended to 60 parts) will be rehearsed and performed with instrumental accompaniment.
