Organizational information
Each workshop participant will have his music part available approximately three weeks before the workshop. As each part will be sung by only one or two singers, an adequate home preparation is assumed.
You can oder the Striggio Mass CD performed by I Fagiolini (this year's Gramophone Awards winner) for 15 EUR. This recording is also unique because it includes a DVD documentary about the recording and a soundtrack in Dolby 5.1 sound.
The workshop will be held in English.
Drinks, coffee and snacks will be provided.
Participants will arrange individually Saturday lunch and evetual overnight stay in Valtice, the selection of accommodation and restaurants is on www.valtice.eu
Benefits for workshop participants
Workshop participants have the opportunity to visit a concert of I Fagiolini in Porta Coeli in Předklášteří u Tišnova on Friday 22 June 2012 with 50% discount on admission, i.e. for 125 CZK (interest in a ticket should be marked in the application form). More information on this concert HERE.
With reference to participation in the workshop, an advantage of cost-advantageous offer of accommodation at the Valtice castle in the Hubertus hotel can be taken for one night on 22 June 2012 for the price of CZK 800 for a single and 1,200 CZK for a double room (www.hotelhubertus.cz).
Workshop participants are also entitled to get one free ticket for the workshop closing concert in Valtice on 23 June 2012.
Registration
Registration fee is 20 EUR and is not refundable but it is transferable.
Registration takes place exclusively through ON-LINE APPLICATION
Some categories are full after 12 March 2012. We further accept applications but those who are interested in booked voice categories will be registered as backups. Therefor it is good to chose from more voice alternatives:
- categories G2, C1, C2, C4, F4 are full
- some more available places are in categories C3, F3
After acceptance of the registration pay instructions will be send by e-mail to the participants. By the end of May 2012 music parts will be sent by postal mail to the workshop participants.
By submitting, the participant agrees to participate in the music workshop on 23 June 2012 as well as in the concert at the Concentus Moraviae Festival at 4:30 pm, where the rehearsed mass will be performed.
