Martin Zbrožek knows how to mock conductors. In the performance Psssst, Maestro is coming! he makes a parody of how conductors behave on stage. From an elderly conductor who can barely stand anymore to the impatient one who would rather perform the part of the soloist too.
A “real” conductor would probably also enjoy the performance, but only after he survived György Ligeti’s Aventures, a short music theatre piece in which three singers play five roles simultaneously, acting out a nonsense story involving five emotional states from humorous to erotic. Alice went through the looking glass and back again. Be aware…the conductor laughs!
